My Journey as The Foot Falcon started April 2018. It was when I bounced off a treadmill, whilst supporting a client. It shattered the life I once knew. .
During this time I went to Townsville for treatment and started exploring life through the eyes of my camera. I had no idea where I was travelling but most days I woke up bright eyed and bushy tailed and started walking the globe one step at a time.
I discovered the art of “Kintsugi” which is the way Japanese repair broken ceramics with a special lacquer mixed with gold. There philosophy is treating breakages and repairs as part of the history rather than something to disguise. They embrace the flaws and imperfections rather than ending it’s time. They make no attempt to hide the damage instead illuminating the repair. This taught me a very important lesson.
Whilst in Townsville I also visited Coffee Works where I discovered a bowel. A bowel made from crushed shells. It look amazing and at the same time delicate and beautiful. Another reminder that I was on the rights path.
I look forward to taking you my journey . Thank you for your support and encouragement.
